Rose Mount Farm's Interscholastic Equestrain Association (IEA) high school and middle school teams. IEA is an organization devoted to improving the quality of competition and instruction avaiable to riders in middle and high school. Competions are conducted much like the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association in that owning a horse is not necessary and riders are judged purely on equitation and talent. Riders will draw horses at the beginning of each show and will be given a brief warm up before competing. This style of competition is designed to challenge the rider to become well rounded.
Started in the summer of 2011 covering all levels of riding from beginners to open riders. Open to middle school and high school students from any area schools or home schooling. Team pratices bi weekly on RMF school horses with coach Mary Ashley Marable. Competing in Zone 3 and across the country.
